Zero Tolerance

lemonchat.app has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Content or conduct that sexualises a minor is prohibited without exception, is not subject to any warning system, and results in immediate and permanent removal from the service.

lemonchat.app is an adults-only service. Nobody under the age of 18 is permitted to create an account or use the service, in any country, under any circumstances.

What Is Prohibited

• •Any sexual content involving a person under 18, real, edited or generated.
• •Sexualising, grooming, or attempting to sexually solicit a minor.
• •Requesting, offering, producing, sharing or advertising material that sexualises a minor.
• •Attempting to arrange offline contact with a minor for a sexual purpose.
• •Using the service while under 18, or helping a minor gain access to it.
• •Trafficking, extortion (sextortion) or any other exploitation of a minor.

These rules apply to video, text, images, nicknames and profile content alike.

How We Prevent Minors From Using the Service

Age enforcement on lemonchat.app is automatic and does not depend on a user honestly declaring their age:

• •Automated age estimation. While a video chat is running, frames from the camera are periodically analysed on our own servers. The analysis produces a face-based estimate of age. If the system concludes that a user may be under 18, the account is banned automatically — no human confirmation is required first.
• •Automated content analysis. The same pipeline checks frames for prohibited content, including nudity, and removes offenders from the matching pool.
• •Ban evasion controls. Bans are enforced beyond the account itself, so deleting an account and signing up again does not restore access.
• •Store-level age restriction. The app is distributed with an 18+ target audience, and users whose Google account indicates they are a minor are blocked from installing it.
• •Age declaration. Accepting our Terms of Service requires confirming that you are 18 or older.

How to Report

Inside the app. Every chat has a report control. Reporting a user takes one tap, requires no explanation, and immediately stops that person from being matched with you again. Reports reach our moderation team directly.

By email. For anything involving a minor — including cases you noticed after leaving the chat — write to [email protected]. This address is monitored and is the fastest route to a human. Please include the nickname of the account and the approximate time of the chat.

To the authorities. You can and should report child sexual abuse material directly to law enforcement, regardless of whether you also tell us. In the United States, reports go to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org. Elsewhere, contact your national police service or your local INHOPE hotline at inhope.org. In an emergency involving a child at immediate risk, call your local emergency number first.

What We Do With a Report

• •Reports involving a minor are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed by a human.
• •Confirmed accounts are permanently banned, and the ban is not purchasable, appealable or removable.
• •Where the law requires it, we preserve the relevant evidence and report the incident to NCMEC or the competent national authority.
• •We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
